Are your headphone ear pads worn out, flattened, lost, or no longer comfortable to use? With these Ibley soft foam 55mm ear pads, you can easily replace old or damaged sponge ear pads. The black foam ear pads are universally suitable for on-ear headphones with a matching diameter of 55mm. You will receive 10 pieces, or 5 pairs, ensuring you have multiple replacement sets on hand for daily use, work, travel, or extended listening.
Universal size and fit
These ear pads are universally suitable for headphones with a matching diameter of 55mm. Before purchasing, please carefully check the size of your current ear pads or measure the rim of the headphone where the ear pad needs to fit. Universal means that the ear pads can fit multiple headphones, but not automatically every model.

Replacement for worn-out ear pads
Over time, ear pads can wear out, tear, become flatter, or feel less fresh. These replacement foam ear pads are intended to replace old or damaged sponge ear pads. This allows you to use your headphones comfortably again without having to buy a new pair immediately.
Material and wearing comfort
The ear pads are made of soft foam, also known as sponge material. This material feels lightweight and is suitable for daily use on on-ear headphones of the correct size. Thanks to the elasticity of the foam, the ear pads are easy to place over the edge of a compatible headphone and feel comfortable during listening.
Installation and attachment
These foam ear pads are typically carefully pulled over the edge or mount of the headphone. First, remove the old ear pad and ensure the edge is clean and free of debris. Gently place the new ear pad around the ear cup or mount so that it sits evenly. Do not use sharp objects during installation to avoid damaging the foam.
Let the ear pads expand first
The ear pads are packed compactly and airtight so they fit easily through the mailbox. After receiving them, it is recommended to let the ear pads sit outside the packaging for 1 to 2 hours before installation. This allows the foam to return to its proper shape and often makes installation easier.
What should you look out for?
These ear pads are universal and not made for one specific brand or model. Therefore, the diameter is the deciding factor for the fit. Carefully measure whether 55mm corresponds to your current ear pads or the attachment rim of your headphones. Keep in mind that small size differences can affect how tightly or loosely the ear pads fit.
How do you measure the correct size?
Preferably, measure the outer size of your current ear pad or the diameter of the rim around which the ear pad fits. If you land around 55mm, this size is usually the most logical choice. If you are in doubt between two sizes, compare carefully how the old ear pad is attached and choose the size closest to your current ear pads.
Product tips for use and maintenance
For a fresh fit and a longer lifespan, it is wise to check and clean your ear pads regularly. Wipe the ear pads with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Let the ear pads dry completely before using the headphones again. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, heat, and direct sunlight, as this can cause the material to wear out faster.
When to replace ear pads?
Replace your ear pads when they tear, come loose, become flatter, discolor, crumble, or feel less comfortable on the ears. Even if the wearing comfort clearly diminishes or the headphones no longer fit properly, replacement can be a simple solution.
