A stylus is a delicate accessory: it can easily be dropped, the tip wears down over time, and the cap gets lost sooner than you’d like. With the right stylus accessories, you can help your Apple Pencil last longer, feel more comfortable in your hand, and charge it quickly whenever you need it.

In our Stylus Accessories collection, you’ll find everything you need to protect, repair, and charge your stylus. The collection currently includes protection and covers, parts and replacements, and charging and adapters, suitable for the Apple Pencil (1st generation), Apple Pencil 2, and Apple Pencil Pro, among others.

What are stylus accessories?

Stylus accessories are small items that make using your digital pen easier, safer, or more comfortable. Examples include a grip for a better hold, a case for carrying your stylus, replacement tips when the old one wears out, or an adapter for charging.

They’re designed to complement your stylus: they don’t replace the device, but help you use it for longer and more comfortably for work, drawing, or taking notes.

Why stylus accessories are useful

A stylus is often used every day, for example at school, at work, or for creative activities such as drawing and taking notes. With this kind of frequent use, parts wear out faster and the risk of dropping or damaging the stylus increases.

Stylus accessories are useful for:

  • protection against drops, scratches, and everyday wear;
  • improving grip during longer writing or drawing sessions;
  • replacing worn or lost tips and caps;
  • storing and carrying your stylus neatly;
  • charging your stylus correctly;
  • personalizing your stylus with a color that suits you.

Which stylus accessories do you need?

The accessories you need depend on how you use your stylus and which part needs attention right now. Do you use your stylus intensively for work or study? Protection is often a good first step. Is the tip worn or have you lost a cap? You’re probably looking for a replacement part.

Common stylus accessories include:

  • anti-slip grips for added comfort and control;
  • storage cases for carrying your stylus safely;
  • replacement caps to prevent loss or damage;
  • replacement tips when the old one wears out;
  • charging adapters for connecting your stylus to a different cable or port.

Protection and covers for your stylus

A stylus is slim and lightweight, so it can easily roll off a table or slip out of a bag. Extra protection helps prevent minor drops or scratches from causing damage.

In the protection and covers collection, you’ll find items such as an anti-slip grip for Apple Pencil 1/2/Pro. This silicone grip gives you a better hold and an ergonomic design that reduces hand fatigue during extended use. You’ll also find a storage case for Apple Pencil 1/2/Pro with room for accessories, and a silicone cap for Apple Pencil to help you avoid losing the original cap.

Do you use the drawing tip a lot, for example for illustrations or notes? A pencil tip cover may come in handy. It not only reduces wear on the tip, but also provides more grip on the screen while writing and reduces the familiar tapping sound.

Please note: not every accessory fits every Apple Pencil generation

Not all stylus accessories are compatible with every Apple Pencil. This is particularly important to check before buying protection or replacement parts, as the Apple Pencil (1st generation) is built differently from the Apple Pencil 2 and Pro.

For example, the silicone replacement cap is made specifically for the Apple Pencil (1st generation), as it covers the Lightning connector found only on this model. The Apple Pencil 2 and Pro don’t have this connector, so the cap won’t fit them.

It’s also worth knowing that the anti-slip grip works best with the Apple Pencil (1st generation), which charges via its connector while the grip is on the stylus. With the Apple Pencil 2 and Pro, you’ll need to remove the grip before charging, as these models attach magnetically to the side of the iPad.

Not sure whether an accessory fits your Apple Pencil? Always check compatibility on the product page, or get in touch.

Parts and replacements for your stylus

Even a well-maintained stylus needs replacement parts over time. The tip wears down with regular use on the screen, and a cap can get lost or damaged.

In the parts and replacements collection, you’ll find items such as replacement tips for Apple Pencil 1/2/Pro, available in sets of 1, 2, or 4. These tips have a built-in mechanical spring, so all the functions of your Apple Pencil continue to work as usual. They also prevent a worn tip from scratching your iPad. You’ll also find a magnetic cap for Apple Pencil, made specifically for the 1st generation as a replacement for a lost or worn original cap.

Is your stylus writing less smoothly on the screen, or does the tip look visibly worn? A replacement tip is often all you need to get back to working comfortably.

Charging and adapters for your stylus

Not all styluses charge in the same way. The Apple Pencil (1st generation) charges via a Lightning connector. The Apple Pencil 2 and Apple Pencil Pro charge magnetically on the side of a compatible iPad.

In the charging and adapters collection, you’ll find items such as a Lightning to Apple Pencil adapter. It lets you connect an Apple Pencil (1st generation) to a Lightning cable instead of plugging it directly into the iPad. This is not only practical, but also prevents the Pencil from sticking out of the iPad while charging, reducing the risk of damage if it gets knocked.

Which Apple Pencil do you have?

Before choosing an accessory, it’s helpful to know exactly which generation of stylus you have. Not every accessory is compatible with every model.

  • Apple Pencil (1st generation): has a round shape, charges via a Lightning connector, and is often used with older iPad models.
  • Apple Pencil 2: has a flat side, attaches magnetically to the edge of compatible iPads, and charges wirelessly there.
  • Apple Pencil Pro: has a similar shape to the Apple Pencil 2, also attaches magnetically to the iPad, and offers extra features such as a squeeze gesture and haptic feedback.

Not sure which model you have? Compare your stylus’s shape and connector with the product information, or get in touch and we’ll be happy to help identify it.

Choosing a color: personalize your stylus

Stylus accessories aren’t just practical; they’re also an easy way to add a personal touch to your Apple Pencil. Since the stylus itself is usually available in white or black, an accessory in a different color is a simple way to personalize it or match it to your iPad, case, or bag.

The storage case and silicone cap are each available in 5 colors, from neutral gray and black to bolder pink or green. The pencil tip covers even come in a mix of 8 colors, so you can switch them up or easily spot your tip among your other belongings.

A colored accessory also makes a fun, affordable gift for someone who already has an Apple Pencil, for school, study, or work, for example.

Stylus accessories for travel, school, or work

Do you regularly take your stylus to school, work, or on the go? Then it’s especially important to protect it from knocks and make sure you have spare parts on hand. A storage case keeps your stylus and any spare parts together in your bag, so you’re not suddenly left without a working stylus during a class, meeting, or project.

Protection, replacements, or charging: what do you need?

These three subcollections each serve a different purpose. Protection and covers help prevent damage and provide a better grip. Parts and replacements keep your stylus working when something is worn out or lost. Charging and adapters help make sure your stylus is ready to use again whenever you need it.

What should you look for when choosing?

Choose the right stylus accessory based on your model, how you use it, and the problem you want to solve. So don’t focus only on color or price—compatibility is what matters most.

When choosing, consider:

  • which Apple Pencil generation you have (1st generation, 2, or Pro);
  • whether you’re mainly looking for protection, a replacement, or a charging solution;
  • whether the accessory needs to be removed for charging (for example, a grip on the Apple Pencil 2/Pro);
  • how intensively you use your stylus;
  • whether you’d prefer an individual part or a complete set;
  • which color suits you, your iPad, or your bag;
  • whether the iPads or other devices shown are included or not.
