Replacement for worn-out ear cushions
Ear cushions take a lot of wear and tear during daily use. They can become flattened, torn, detached, discolored, or feel less fresh. With these replacement ear cushions, you can make your compatible JBL headphones more pleasant to use again without having to buy new headphones immediately. This is especially useful when the headphones themselves still work well, but the wearing comfort has diminished.
Material and wearing comfort
The ear cushions are made of protein leather and memory foam. The memory foam conforms to the ear and can help the headphones fit more comfortably again. The protein leather gives the ear cushions a neat finish and is easy to wipe clean with a soft cloth. A dust screen is also built-in, so the inside of the ear cup is neatly covered.
Installation and attachment
The ear cushions are intended as a direct replacement for the mentioned JBL models. Carefully remove the old ear cushions from the headphones and place the new ones back in the same way. Gently align the attachment points with the connection on the headphones and press the ear cushions on evenly. Do not use sharp objects during installation to prevent damage to the headphones or ear cushions.
Left-right indication
The ear cushions are equipped with handy left-right indicators. This makes it easy to see which ear cushion belongs on which side. That makes replacing them clearer and helps ensure a proper fit on your headphones.
What to look out for?
These ear cushions are model-specific and only intended for the mentioned JBL models. Therefore, check carefully whether your headphones correspond to the JBL E65, JBL E65 BTNC, JBL Duet NC, JBL Live 650 BTNC, or JBL Live 660 BTNC. They are not automatically suitable for other JBL series, other generations, or models with a similar name.
Product tips for use and maintenance
For a fresh fit and longer lifespan, it is wise to check and keep your ear cushions clean regularly. Wipe the ear cushions with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Let the ear cushions dry thoroughly before using the headphones or headset again. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, heat, and direct sunlight, as this can cause the material to wear out faster.
When to replace ear cushions?
Replace your ear cushions when they tear, come loose, become flatter, discolor, feel sticky, crumble, or no longer fit well around your ear. Even when the wearing comfort clearly diminishes or the headphones no longer seal as comfortably, replacement can be a good solution.
